At reelintime.com we offer an easy to use, secure and reliable service for the conversion of film (8mm and Super8) and video cassettes into digital format. After you have placed your order and sent your films or videos to us we convert them and upload them onto the site where you can choose to make them publically viewable in the Archive or place them in a Vault for exclusive access by family and friends.
Here’s how it works and what you have to do:

What Happens |
|---|---|
1 |
Click the buttons and boxes for the films/videos you wish to convert and the calculator gives you the price. Price includes a free dvd copy sent to you. If you have other formats like 16mm, Hi8, 9mm etc. contact us at for prices at: enquiries@reelintime.com |
2 |
Decide if you want your original films returned. Tick the box if you do. Your films will be returned by recorded delivery. If you don't, don't worry. We will store your films for you. |
3 |
Make a payment via Paypal (or credit card if you don't have a Paypal account). You receive a reference number and a UK dispatch address. We recommend you send by recorded delivery or similar. |
4 |
On receipt of your films we will convert them to digital within 10 working days. (We will contact you if there is any delay) |
5 |
You receive an email telling you that your films are uploaded and ready for viewing in your Private Screening Room - only accessible by you. To make upload and download times manageable the maximum file length is 10 mins. So a 120min vhs would give you 12 files. You can delete any files here that you do not want to keep. |
6 |
You put your films in the public Archive or if you wish to keep the films private for family and friends only, you can buy a Vault. Files left in your Screening Room are deleted after 4 weeks. |
